Screw the New Year’s Resolution!

Be Inspired - Posted: December 31, 2012

Screw the New Years Resolution

Don't wait till New Year's to make a resolution that you're not going to keep to. When you choose to do something. Do it. There and then.

If you want to take something into 2013, make sure it isn't procrastination.

The origin of the word resolution:

- early 15c., "a breaking into parts," from L. resolutionem (nom. resolutio) "process of reducing things into simpler forms,"

Don't create these broad, unmeasurable resolutions at the start of every year. The shine will soon rub off. Make goals. Cut them down to size. Make them happen. Next thing you know that big goal you had has been completed.

Remember small wins add up to big wins.

So screw the New Year's Resolution. Always aim to be better.

Happy New Year!

You only get one 2013; make it the best year yet!
