Mr Hoffmann was born and raised in Miami and is the founder of davidsbeenhere.com.

He also studied at the University of Miami up until 2008 when he graduated with a degree in entrepreneurship. David was risk taking and adventurous in whatever he did as a youngster and as he grew older this spirit carried on.

His parents were born in Venezuela but settled in Miami in the mid 80’s. His dad was of Hungarian decent and his mother was Italian. This exposure too many cultures, led him to take an avid interest in the world around him and his adventurous entrepreneurial attitude led him to starting davidsbeenhere.com.

The site offers a guide too many places in the world as seen by David. A keen traveller David documents his trips in detail for people who intend to travel to these places. He tells the best places to stay and eat and also where the best nightlife entertainment and cultural sites can be found.

The goal of the site is to give insight to users of places they may have never visited, a chance to find all the undiscovered gems not found in usual travel guides.

He started the company in 2007; with the site going live in April 2008 davidsbeenhere.com has guides of numerous locations in 20 countries and is expanding all the time.

The 24 year old has been showing his entrepreneurial spirit since a youngster. He was 10 when he used to sell mangos and go around Miami washing cars.

Later on in life, while at high school he became known as ‘The Muffin Man’, because he used to come into school every morning with 45 muffins which he would sell.

David has already made an impact in the industry and is looking at technology and his imagination to continue this rapid growth of his brand.
