I recently discovered a great new tool called Signals. It notifies you when people open your emails, and lets you know when people are visiting your website or any other links in your email. It's been tremendously useful to me. It's free to track up to 200 emails a month or just $10 a month for unlimited tracking.

Signals by Hubspot is so simple and takes seconds to use. The only problem is now knowing that an emailed has been opened and that agonising wait for a reply!
Anther great feature which I have just found in the last few days is the reporting dashboard. It shows you your daily open rates. This is useful for seeing when your emails are most likely to get opened so you can time when you send it. I've noticed Fridays are bad!
You can also see your click rate so you can see how engaged someone is in your email or spot if they've said they've seen your email and link but haven't.
I've found Signals most useful for timing follow up emails. If I see someone has opened it but not responded after a few days, they may have got busy and forgot about it, so I will follow up. If after a week it hasn't been opened, I will resend to check if they got it.
This has helped me massively increase the numbers of responses I've got and already led to a couple partnerships! Well worth it considering you can get 200 emails free. If you want to stay on the free package you can choose which emails to use Signals on rather than waste 1 of your 200 on an email which is not important.
So don't hesitate, try it out today: Get Signals now
It works by embedding a small hidden image in your email which is pinged back when opened. The only time it may not work is when the receiver the image load in email switched off. So far I've found very few.
Perhaps adding a signature with an image will help tracking as more people will be prompted to load images in your email.
Added bonus you can integrate Signals with Salesforce, Hubspot Zapier.
Hope that helps!
