As an entrepreneur you will need to make the most of the time in the day and maximise your efficiency. There is no room for procrastination if you want to be successful. There are so many tools these days to help you as a entrepreneur with a start up on a limited budget. From my personal experience and after asking other young entrepreneurs I have compiled a top 5 in no particular order.
So here they are:
Evernote
This note taking tool is great for putting down all your ideas, web clippings, files and syncing them between your desktop, iPhone, Android application etc.. and with the ability to save them offline you can work anywhere, anytime.
From Evernote.com
Our goal at Evernote is to give everyone the ability to easily capture any moment, idea, inspiration, or experience whenever they want using whichever device or platform they find most convenient, and then to make all of that information easy to find.
And we’ve done just that. From creating text and ink notes, to snapshots of whiteboards and wine labels, to clips of webpage's, Evernote users can capture anything from their real and digital lives and find it all anytime.
Huddle is an online project management, Group Collaboration and Document Sharing tool. This is a great productivity tool hosted in the cloud. Whether it is collaborating on projects, sharing information between employee or clients, sharing and editing files in workgroups or even just managing your tasks, all in one place, this is the tool for you. Keeps the IT costs down when you are still a small company.
This is a great tool for entrepreneurs to track online traffic to their website and also analyse where it came from. This can help in making decisions crucial in helping build traffic and also managing what is and isn't working. The tool is fairly simple and after using it for a while you can work your way round fairly easily and will be amazed at the stats available. Considering this costs nothing at all it can give you a good insight into the effectiveness of your marketing. It integrates with your AdWords account allowing you to get the most out of your budget.
Moo
Every entrepreneur needs business cards. Fact. Everyone has them and often they get lost with everyone else's so you need to set yours apart. That's where Moo comes in. They print custom business cards, mini cards & more. You can even choose an altered design and colour for each individual card you order. They really do look great so check them out for yourself at Moo.com.
Now you may not of heard of this but one, but it is fast becoming popular and an essential tool for those in business. In fact so many people brought them to the Apple iPhone 4 launch Steve Jobs had to request people stop using them as they were interfering with the functionality of the phone.
So what is the MiFi exactly, well it is a mobile hotspot allowing instant internet access to up to five WiFi devices. Now you can work wherever you are no longer have to worry about the usability of conference WiFi, or searching for Hotspots.
Now with millions of tools out there I have obviously left a lot out. So let me know what your most useful tools are in the comments below.
