Two years ago, ClickMechanic co founder Andrew Jervis was inducted to our famous young entrepreneurs to watch list, and so it seems for good reason.

Announced a couple weeks ago, ClickMechanic have raised a new round of funding led by former JustEat CEO  Klaus Nyengaard who had this to say: "I work a lot with marketplaces, and I was immediately impressed with the smartness of how ClickMechanic works. They are a young team with lots of drive and a new way of matching supply and demand in the mechanics industry. Exactly the kind of ambitious project I like to work with."

ClickMechnic is an online marketplace for car repair, making it quick and easy for drivers to get online quotes and book a vetted mechanic.

Founded in 2012 by Andrew Jervis and Felix Kenton, the pair have proved value with over 150,000 car service and repair quotes and since early 2014 the company’s growth has been between 20-40% month-on-month.

They have raised £320,000 with this round which includes angel investors:

Klaus Nyengaard - Former CEO of JustEat, Current Chariman of Wahanda, ClickMechanic Lead Angel

Rasmus Wolff - Former CCO of JustEat, CCO of GetYourGuide

Giorgio Ponticelli – Former Group Business Development Director of JustEat, MD of New Markets at Wahanda

Lopo Champalimaud - Founder and CEO of Wahanda

Simon Lambert – CTO of Wahanda

Chris Wood - CCO of Wahanda

Leigh Phillipson - Sales Director of Wahanda

Simon Schnieders - Former Head of SEO at Zoopla

Andy Wilson – Former Head of Growth of GetYourGuide

Ian Hooper - Former Vice President of Seamless

The investment is going to help the pair grow the team with some high profile hires including Peter Kerr, International Sales Manager of Just Eat, and Jake Mellett, Head of Search and Partnerships in the Beauty Division at the Hut Group.

With the existing traction that Andrew and felix have already built and the added experience within the team and advisors, ClickMechanic have put themselves in a great position to make this a huge success.
