Serviced Offices: the Ideal Working Space for Start-Ups

Entrepreneurship - Posted: October 18, 2012

Picture the scene: you have grand plans for your future SME, a great vision of the industry your company will work in, you elaborated a complex business strategy and can count on all the right people. You feel like something is missing though – and you’re right. You don’t have an office.  For as much as you feel like a big, bold working space with all the latest comforts would be a perfect investment, your budget doesn’t allow you to invest  as much as money on infrastructure as you would want.

Say you’re located in England’s North-West and you think your own living room is probably not the best place to start from: the first thing to know right now is that Manchester offices are not just on-sale with onerous price-tags and on rent with long-term leases. Increasingly more start-ups are in fact resorting to more immediate and affordable solutions: serviced offices are now available from various providers with very short commitments and affordable prices.

With a fraction of the cost you would spend to add extra facilities to a rented office, serviced offices already come with fantastic range of features, such as a staffed reception, IT services, photocopying and separate meeting rooms also available. Sorting and managing all these aspects would take precious resources, something that you won’t have to worry about in this case.

Considering that the initial commitment is usually as short as three months and it can take even less than a day to set up one of these spaces, it’s plain to see how serviced offices an ideal solution for young entrepreneurs. And as soon as the time to kick-start your business comes and you have moved into your first office, all you will have to worry about will be your company and the ways to expand it. If you mean business, that’s all that matters.
