Over the past year, we’ve bought a couple of restaurant and wellness coupons from Groupon and KGB Deals thanks to the online group-buying phenomenon that helps us enjoy local activities for much less money. In the last few months, however, we have seen dozens of group-buying sites pop up like mushrooms!

Like us, many of our friends were annoyed at being bombarded with dozens of sites and hundreds of e-mails promoting local bargains. To solve this annoying problem we launched Coupobox.co.uk which saves time and money by providing an overview of group-buying deals within one single site and newsletter.

We further help our deal-fans with personalized preferences and categories to quicken their searches. Many people, and surprisingly merchants too, are no longer happy to scroll threw hundreds of browsers or emails to find an appealing deal. Thanks to Coupobox, group-buying is much more fun!

It’s amazing what’s happened since we launched three months ago. We’ve launched our site in the UK, Germany and Austria. Our social figures have gone up and we have some awesome people helping and working with us from all over the world.

We launched in UK at the end of October and by mid November we’d expanded to the German market where our partners (companies like Groupon.deDailydeal.de, Prosiebenproducts.de, Biodeals and others) have already saved consumers €30 million since Coupobox’s launch. Thanks to these amazing results, we decided to launch in Austria as well.

The Coupobox team is young, dynamic and ambitious to expand the business further. In total we speak 10 languages and have the ideal academic backgrounds and nationalities to run a European business. Being innovative and making things easier and faster for the user is our focus. The business continues to grow rapidly, as from day one right up until today the number of subscribers and daily visitors has risen constantly.

We encourage everybody in the team to wake up their entrepreneurial spirit. We have additional people in Germany, The Netherlands and Austria who just love to support us and to build strength in the product and market. For us it’s important that everybody shares, learns and finds out what he or she is capable of.
