Miss Holmes left Stanford University in 2003 at the age of 19, It was never her intention to drop out of university, all her time was spent on talking to several supporters also attending vital meetings regarding Theranos, which left little time for university projects.
Her actions have helped her raised $6 million in venture capital from many organisations.
Theranos started from a cramp basement of her friends whom were graduates. Miss Holmes believes in self-motivation in order to make it in life.
Before a person can believe in you or your company, you must believe in yourself. Being prepared to be rejected by many were thoughts that she has anticipated, on the other hand her hope also consisted that someone would have belief in her and take her idea serious.
Profits from Theranos weren’t promised straight away, yet a determined and passionate attitude was needed at all times. Miss Holmes has illustrated how a journey to success is never smooth yet worth the smoothening.
