Calum Brannan owns quite a few startups and is only 21!
To some people, he is perceived as UK’s version of Mark Zuckerberg (The facebook guy), Calum got into the social media when he was only 15.
Like most teenagers, he started his first business in his bedroom in coventry, his desire to create a social network for young people has always been on his mind, eventually leading him to start PPLParty.com in 2005.
The site contains information regarding the best nightclubs within the uk and interaction for all members from different areas.
After improving PPLParty.com which eventually morphed into a new name “ Youmeo” during late 2007, the website still didn’t turn out to be as successful as he had hoped it would be, however all hope was not lost.
He eventually went to his new project, starting a social media consultancy business called “Social Helium” for social networking experts.
He has also started a new type of advertising agency for the present days social media world, this business is named “Spendengo”.
Mr Brannan works in teams who has helped well known organisation with in-depth discussions and consultancy, organisation such as Bebo, Vodafone, Yahoo, Christian Vision and many more.
Falling down is highly predictable within the entrepreneurial world as illustrated via Mr Brannan’s entrepreneurial years, however his persistent kept him striving and aiming high.
