Felecia hatcher with feverish – An eco ice cream truck business

Start-Ups - Posted: August 12, 2010

Felecia hatcher

Serial entrepreneur Felecia Hatcher was 19years old when she began her first business coaching high schoolers on what they had to do to gain entry to college.

After this, she started working in the corporate world soon after she realised being an employee was not for her.

At the age of 25, she found a way to make money and be her own boss, she started her own company called Feverish.

What is feverish, well it’s an eco ice cream truck business which is targeted towards adults, Felecia showed her creativity by creating a whole range of new flavours specifically for adults.

These included Georgia SweetTea, Mango Chilli and even Margarita!

She came up with the idea after chasing after an Ice Cream truck and ending up flat on her face. She felt there had to be a cooler way, rather than chasing after a truck playing a jingle.

Her Feverish Ice Cream trucks can be found at all sorts of special events from weddings and birthdays to red carpet events and fashion shows in the Florida area.

The company is gaining popularity and will soon enough expand further. Felicia also gives parts of the proceeds to charity and is heavily involved in communicating with students encouraging them into entrepreneurship or college.

Felicia feels that becoming an entrepreneur came about by knowing what she didn’t want to do, and that was being a 9-5 employee.
