Debbie Davis has found her calling as Britain's most successful Avon Lady after making £7 million in sales.

She landed the job five years ago and now employs a team of over 2,500 people, and earns around £250,000 a year.

So far she has sold £7 million of Avon products, including £2 million in just one year.

Back in 2004 Debbie was jobless and living on the breadline after she lost her job at a printing factory in Sunderland.

Desperate to find her £400 rent Debbie she signed up to be an Avon lady and was amazed when she turned over £18,800 during a three-week sales campaign.

She says: "It's unbelievable. To go from nothing to this is amazing.

"I was absolutely skint, I had nothing.

"I got made redundant in 2004 and I needed money, the main thing I needed was the £400 rent for the house.
